Those viewing the presidential race from the military service point of view can see it entirely differently. The desire to quickly get out of Iraq is balanced against the hope to see the country stabilized.
I "honestly" have beliefs of where I want the country to go that coincides somewhat directly with the rhethorical, therotetical, utopic ideals of Sen. Obama. I am smart enough however to understand the meaning of actions speak louder than words.
I am beginning to think does he believe what he is saying or does he just believe he sounds good saying it?
With respect to the issue of public financing and his decision now to not take it... it goes right to his character as a man. If I make a public call for change over and over again, publically state I will use public financing if my opponent does and then only after I realize "Hey I am getting a ton of money not using public financing" decxide to backtrack I am the least a less than credible individual. The fact that he chooses to offer some lame rhetorical reason(s) as to why he doesn't want it now is not about the "change" he so desperately champions...... Or.... maybe he is about "change" and this is an example of the types of "change" he is thinking and only we are so stupid to assume that when he says change he means ones in the positive direction?
